The Role

Joining as the Skincare & Fragrance Category Trainer for Norway means becoming a vital member of our Nordic education team, which includes 12 Category Trainers spread across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Your role will involve close collaboration with our Sales department to empower beauty experts in prominent retailers like KICKS, Fredrik & Louisa stores throughout Norway, with a primary emphasis on the Oslo area.
Reporting to the Education Lead based in Stockholm, Sweden, you'll spearhead training programs within the Skincare & Fragrance category, both in-store, in classroom and virtually. Your responsibilities encompass facilitating sessions on Estée Lauder Companies products, sales techniques, product knowledge sharing, coaching, and other critical areas, whether in-store, in classrooms, or virtually.


As part of a dynamic team committed to transforming and enhancing the education journey, you'll play a pivotal role in driving digital learning and virtual selling initiatives forward.


Your Key Responsibilities

As the Skincare & Fragrance Category Trainer for Norway, your focus will be on driving excellence in education within the Skincare & Fragrance categories. Specifically, you will:

  • Execute Education Programs: Lead the implementation of thorough education programs covering sales, services, and coaching within the Skincare & Fragrance category. This includes conducting sessions both in-store and virtually from your home base.
  • Plan and Deliver Training: Take charge of planning and delivering education training sessions for staff across Norway, with a particular emphasis on enhancing product knowledge and providing feedback on product and customer service skills.
  • Strengthen Sales and Consumer Experience: Work towards enhancing the sales and consumer experience capabilities within our field sales teams, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel.


Qualifications

Your Qualifications

  • Strong Retail Education Background: You should have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in retail education, ideally within the beauty industry.
  • Excellent Presentation Skills: You must possess exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging messages that resonate with your audience.
  • Proactive Approach: We value individuals who take a proactive approach to improving both personal and organizational effectiveness. Your initiative and drive will be key to our success.
  • Experience in Independent and Remote Work: You should be experienced in working independently, as well as collaborating effectively with remote management.
  • Digital Proficiency: Comfort with digital platforms is essential, as is the ability to confidently present in front of the camera.
  • Passion for Skincare, and Fragrance: A genuine passion for skincare, and fragrance is a must, along with previous experience as a beauty expert, preferably within the skincare, and or fragrance category.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both Norwegian and English, both written and spoken, is required to effectively communicate with our team and stakeholders.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: You should have a strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, including PowerPoint, Word, and Teams, to efficiently create and collaborate on presentations and documents.

Next Step

The role is based within the Oslo region. Therefore, some travel will be expected approximately 5 days per month with own car or public transportations.
